The Chesapeake Challenge is a Ryder Cup style match between the MAAGCS and ESAGCS. Teams of two players from each association will play a best ball match. 1 point will be awarded to the winning team, with 1/2 point being awarded to each team in the event of a tie. The association with the most points after all matches have been played will be declared the winners of the Chesapeake Challenge and will be awarded the President's Trophy.
The annual match takes place at Queenstown Harbor in Queenstown, MD. MAAGCS are the defending champions.

Lindsay Thompson
Thompson Ag Consulting
Bio: Lindsay Thompson owns Thompson Ag Consulting providing association management, government and public relations services to agricultural and natural resource based organizations and businesses. Lindsay grew up on a grain farm in Queenstown, MD where she now resides with her husband and three children. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Washington College and master's of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Thompson worked in the Maryland legislature before turning her passion for agriculture into a career in policy. Lindsay works on legislative and regulatory issues including pesticides, nutrient management, land use, transportation, water quality and conservation program funding. She was recently recognized as one of the fifteen "Women to Watch" in the Shore Magazine.
Discussion: Lindsay will discuss the issues impacting the golf course industry during the most recent legislative session, the political landscape in Maryland, forecasted issues and how you can get involved with your legislators.
