Crofton Country Club is accepting application for our Assistant Superintendent position.

CCC is a private club located in the suburbs of Crofton, about a 30 minute drive away both Washington DC and Baltimore.  Although built in 1964 CCC remains a challenging, yet fun course for all skill levels.

CCC is in the process of completing a re-grassing of the fairways from the current cool season mix of Bent/Rye/Poa to Zeon Zoysia. We have completed 5/14 fairways and all the approaches from about 30-40 yards and in have been re-grassed to Zeon, including all par 3s.

Greens: Bentgrass/Poa mix

Tees: Meyer Zoysia

Fairways: 5/14 are Zeon Zoysia, the rest are a mix of Bent/Rye/Poa/Common Bermuda

Rough: Tall Fescue/Rye/Poa mix

The Assistant will report directly to the Superintendent and work closely with the Director of GCM   

Educational Requirements

• 2-4 year degree in turf or other related fields. Other qualified candidates may be considered.
• Recent graduates and soon to graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 year experience in turf related field

Special Requirements

• Must obtain a Maryland Pesticide Applications license with 90 days.
